PART- A 100
এ অংশে বর্তমান সময়ের সাথে সঙ্গতিপূর্ণ একটি Passage-টির আলোকে ১-৭ নং প্রশ্নগুলোর উত্তর দিতে হবে।
১. এ অংশে Passage-টির উপর ভিত্তি করে ১০টি প্রশ্ন দেয়া থাকবে। Passage-টির কোনো অংশ হুবহু নকল না করে নিজস্ব বাক্যে প্রশ্নগুলোর উত্তর দিতে হবে। 30
২. Passage-টিতে ব্যবহৃত কিছু শব্দ দেয়া থাকবে। শব্দগুলোর অর্থ লিখতে হবে, অর্থ অবশ্যই Passage-এর Word গুলোর অর্থের সাথে সঙ্গতিপূর্ণ হতে হবে। অথবা, একটি বক্সে শব্দগুলোর সমার্থক কতকগুলো Word দেয়া থাকবে। পরীক্ষার্থীকে প্রদত্ত শব্দগুলোর সমার্থক শব্দ খুঁজে বের করতে হবে। 5
৩. একটি Table-এ কিছু শব্দ দেয়া থাকবে এবং Cell ফাঁকা থাকবে। পরীক্ষার্থীকে নির্দেশনা অনুসারে Cell- গুলোতে Parts of Speech অনুযায়ী শব্দটির সঠিক form বসাতে হবে। 5
৪. কিছু শব্দ দেয়া থাকবে। এগুলোর সমার্থক শব্দ লিখতে হবে। সমার্থক শব্দটি দিয়ে বাক্য তৈরি করতে হবে। অথবা, কিছু বাক্য দেয়া থাকবে। প্রদত্ত Subordinate- গুলোর মধ্য থেকে উপযুক্ত Subordinate ব্যবহার করে বাক্যগুলো শুদ্ধরূপে লিখতে হবে। 10
৫. কয়েকটি Complex, Compound Sentence কে Simple Sentence-এ রূপান্তর করতে হবে। অথবা, কয়েকটি বাক্য দেয়া থাকবে, নির্দেশনা অনুসারে বাক্যে Capitalization, Punctuation এবং Quotation marks ব্যবহার করতে হবে। 10
৬. ১০০ শব্দের মধ্যে প্রদত্ত Passage-টির summary লিখতে হবে। 20
৭. Passage-টির মধ্যে আলোচিত কোনো একটি বিষয় সম্পর্কে সংবাদপত্র প্রকাশের জন্য সম্পাদক বরাবর একটি Letter লিখতে হবে। 20
